a bit about jck

I have been described as a lot of things, but if I had to pick one adjective to describe myself, I would say eclectic. I’m inspired by a wide variety of surroundings, music and genres, new and old – and I design according to that wild and reeling mindset.

I'm lucky enough to have designed for nearly every type of client, ranging from industrial manufacturers to the beauty industry and everyone in between. I was even a letterpress printer for a bit, enjoying the raw, bulky power of cast iron and metal creating beautifully intricate designs on paper. I've been around the block, and thoroughly enjoy the creative process and watching how it influences the end user.

My time away from the computer includes an odd combination of hobbies, ranging from dancing to kayaking, hiking and fishing. Being outdoors is a necessity for me; nature renews my mind and body. I love my family, and I'm proud to call myself a crazy dog mom to two spoiled hounds: Peppa, my rescued chiweenie, and Tilly our other rescued mutt.

Overall I’m quite the conundrum of person wrapped up in a makeshift package. I love to make new connections, in the industry and continue to develop a bright, creative future!
